This morning, as I pulled in to the gym, I couldn’t help but notice just how popular the Jaguar F Pace has become in the world of SUVs and crossovers. The car park was practically a showroom, with four different versions of the F Pace on display, it’s clearly a favourite among fellow drivers.
I first wrote about my F Pace when I bought it back in August last year, I had a need for a dog friendly all wheel drive car and it was exactly what I was looking for. Since then, I’ve clocked up around 3,000 miles, not a huge distance, but enough to make some unforgettable memories. Being retired, my journeys are mostly for pleasure rather than necessity, and the car has made every trip feel special.
According to ‘How Many Left’, as of the end of Q3 2025, there were 69,000 F Paces registered across the UK, with around 1,200 on SORN (Statutory Off Road Notice). This year marks the F Pace’s tenth birthday, and enthusiasts are set to celebrate with a special gathering at Gaydon on 19th April.
Owning the SVR is a real treat. Admittedly, it’s not the most frugal when it comes to miles per gallon, you won’t win any eco awards, but if you measure your journeys in ‘smiles per mile’, it’s unbeatable. The thrill of unleashing its power, the soundtrack of that V8, and the sheer joy when you tap the accelerator make every outing feel like a celebration of driving. If you’re passionate about cars, the F Pace SVR is guaranteed to keep a grin plastered on your face!
And to add to the above, Bentley our Golden Doodle, loves it (yes, he’s also black).
