For those with a knack for spotting changes, you’ll notice the inclusion of a category for “Pre 66 Touring Cars”.  This was formerly known as the HRDC Jack Sears Trophy but has now been revitalised under the classic moniker MRL Top Hat, a homage to “Mr HRDC” Julius Thurgood’s early days in motorsport organisation.  It’s a brilliant nod to tradition, promising plenty of old-school racing action.

Another highlight is the brand-new Pre 66GT Sprint category, which, together with the reborn Top Hat series, will make its much-anticipated debut at the Donington Historic Festival.  This thrilling series will feature one-hour races, drawing inspiration from the iconic Pall Mall Cup, and is sure to deliver fast-paced, competition for both drivers and spectators.
