There has been considerable speculation regarding the date for the proposed 2026 Silverstone Classic. Many enthusiasts and stakeholders have been keen to learn when this much-anticipated event will take place.

Confirmation from Motor Racing Legends

A recent press release from Motor Racing Legends, in which they announced their 2026 calendar, has provided some clarity. According to this announcement, although it is not titled as such, there is a Silverstone GP event scheduled to be held from 24th to 26th July.

Is this the “Classic”?

The next question concerns the Oulton Park Gold Cup which moved from its August Bank Holiday weekend some time ago, to the last weekend in July presumably to accommodate the Silverstone Festival.
